NEET-PG counselling · round by round

What each choice costs you, one round at a time

MCC's all-India rounds and your state's rounds run side by side. Tap a round to see who can take part, what joining, upgrading or leaving a seat does, and the money at stake. Every rule shows its page in the official document.

2025-26These are the 2025-26 rules (NEET-PG 2025), from the official documents. The 2026-27 documents are only starting to come out, and rules change from year to year, so check the current notice before you act.

How to read this

Lines in quote marks are the document's own words, with the page. In plain wordslines are ours, and when the two differ, the document is right.

Where a state's documents are in Hindi or another Indian language, we don't quote them here: you see our plain English with the page, and a link to open the official document.

"Not in the document" means we read the whole document and it doesn't say. The rule may sit in a separate notice for that round, so look there before you decide.

The rounds are lined up by number. MCC's data-sharing rules fix the order at Round 3 and the Stray Round. For the exact dates, see each year's schedule.
